La Santa Maria Hotel Sitges, Sitges

Facing the beach, with friendly staff, the hotel provides a special experience with a wonderful breakfast. However, the rooms were placed on the first floor with only views of other buildings, despite booking a twin room. The atmosphere can get quite chilly during the night, especially in Sitges, known for its vibrant party scene.

The hotel had clean and comfy rooms, but they felt a bit dated and tired. The staff were lovely and welcoming, although there were some concerns about hygienic standards in one room. The location was excellent, very close to the beach and within the hotel, though not suitable for using the veranda. The dining experience was good overall, especially enjoying scrambled eggs with toast and bacon, despite minor issues like running out of coffee cups. The facilities were well-kept and convenient.

The hotel had some maintenance issues in the rooms and could use improvements at this price range. The location was excellent for beach access, but the dining experience was not up to par.

I have just returned from my stay at this hotel and have to say it was a mixed experience. The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the beach and central to all that Sitges has to offer. The rooms were a bit of a letdown, though, as they were noisy at night, in need of a makeover, and quite small with a tiny wardrobe. However, the service was top-notch, with wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. The dining options fell short for me, being simple and poor, but the included amenities like laundry and airport shuttle were a nice touch.

however, they were very clean with a good balcony and a very comfortable bed. The service by the night porter varied from being moody with curt answers to extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. The location at the boulevard was great for the beach and nightlife. The dining experience was mixed with the option to enjoy a better buffet breakfast next door. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvements.
